Tim has been a longtime supporter and advocate for BGTP and many other charitable causes, and now it’s our turn to be an advocate for him. As a member of our community, I know how much kindness and compassion matter to you. So in the spirit of that compassion, I wanted to share Tim’s story with you.
In 2020 Tim was diagnosed with Stage 4 colorectal cancer. He was given just 3 years to live. He then found out, that he desperately needs a liver transplant.
What has always made Tim remarkable as an individual is his gift to look at every challenge as an opportunity. Even in the face of seemingly insurmountable odds, Tim quickly regained his relentlessly optimistic outlook and began not only his fight but helping others with theirs.
Always an incredible connector and networker, Tim has spent the last two years tirelessly advocation for people to be screened early and often for colorectal cancer, the nation's second leading cause of cancer death. What Tim has taught is is that doctors are pioneering new techniques in treating cancer and one in particular, Living Liver Donation could help save his life and the lives of the thousands of others awaiting a transplant.
We’re asking you, our community, to participate in our campaign of awareness and healing for Tim in one or more of the four following ways:
